A PAIR of Portsmouth artists have turned an area in the city into an award winning garden.

The garden will be open to the public to view on Sunday.

Since 2008 a small piece of land to the side of the Art Space Portsmouth studio building has been changed.

Art Space Portsmouth artists Jane Kilford and Adrian Mundy have co-ordinated the transformation with help from the local community.

Over the last four years the garden has been used for a number of community events including free planting sessions for residents.

The garden, at Art Space Portsmouth in Brougham Road, will be open from 1pm until 4pm.

Refreshments will be available and plants will be up for sale.
