Service fighting for survival gets shot in the arm with cash

A CHARITY that is fighting for survival due to a lack of funding has won a grant.

Off the Record, which has centres in Fratton and Leigh Park, received £1,000 from Alliance to Reward Initiatives and Social Enterprise.

Diabetes UK Portsmouth also secured a grant worth more than £500. In total £2,800 was given to the two groups, along with Haslar Visitors Group, Portsmouth School of Gymnastics Pre-School and Peak Performance Sports.

Theresa Wade, company secretary of Off The Record, said thank you for the cash.
