Babies and toddlers can explore a classic poem in a themed session at Portsmouth Museum tomorrow.

The activity will explore the verses of The Jumblies by Edward Lear.

They can play and learn together in sessions which will explore wind, water, storms and circles, in a multi-sensory environment.

Three 45-minute sessions will be taking place at 10.30am, 11.30am and 2.30pm.

Places are limited so anyone interested in attending is advised to book a place by calling (023) 9283 4744 from 9am-5pm.

Alternatively, book a place at the museum’s reception desk.

The museum is teaming up with artist-educators, Octopus Inc, to deliver a series of events inspired by the poem and artworks on show in the museum’s picture gallery.

All activities will take place on the ground floor of Portsmouth Museum.

Baby changing facilities are available in the accessible toilet.
