TEAMS of film-makers are taking part in a 48-hour challenge this weekend.

The contest, called DVMission, started yesterday at 5pm and will conclude with a screening of all the entries at the Wedgewood Rooms in Southsea tomorrow.

Event director Jinx Prowse said there were about 300 people taking part in this year’s challenge, which involves making a two-minute film. The contestants are given a shared line of dialogue, title and genre on which to base it.

The screening and awards ceremony is open to the public and starts at 7.30pm.
