SCOUT chairman Stephen Bradbury has received an Unsung Hero award for his hard work helping the children of Southsea.
The chairman of the 64th Portsmouth Scout group was nominated by parents to receive the accolade.
During his time as chairman, Stephen led the project to get a new Scout hut built at St Swithun’s Church.
The 49-year-old said: ‘I was shocked when told I was going to get the reward.
‘I think the parents wanted to say thank you for helping the group get the new hut but it was a team effort by everyone.’
