Singing for rotary club

Air pollution is inspiration for poster contest

Carol-singing youngsters have raised hundreds of pounds for charity.

Children from Cottage Grove and Flying Bull primaries, Westover, Copnor and Stamshaw juniors, Mayville High and St John's Cathedral schools made 750 at the Cascades shopping centre over the last two weeks.

The money, collected by members of Southsea Castle Rotary club dressed as snowmen, will go to various charities chosen by the club.

Rotarian Carol Jenkinson thanked everyone who took part donated.
