ART students and artists were given a creative boost through an art inspiration day.

The Search Museum, in Clarence Road, Gosport, invited artists to draw inspiration from its collections.

Visitors put pencil to paper after seeing fossil displays, animal specimens and a mock-up of a 1950s room.

They sketched, drew and sculpted models based on what they saw in the museum on April 15.

Education officer Wendy Redman, from the museum, said: ‘It is a different event and a unique way to use our museum collections.’
