A CABIN cruiser caught fire off the coast of Hayling Island yesterday.

Two fire engines were sent to Seafarers Walk after a 35ft cabin cruiser had a small fire on board.

The coastguard had towed the boat to Hayling Island and nine firefighters put out the fire which was in the engine compartment.

The incident happened at 11.40am.
