PLANS for a large solar farm north of Chichester have been approved.

Chichester District Council approved a farm of 44,052 solar photovoltaic cells at Lavant Quarry.

However, plans for a second farm at West Stoke Road have been dropped. As reported, English Heritage have said it could harm the remains of the Devil’s Ditch monument.
