PUB customers are being urged to dig out their fancy dress gear for a worthy cause this weekend.

The Fifth Hants Volunteer Arms, in Albert Road, Southsea, is holding an 80s night in aid of Help for Heroes on Sunday night.

There will be live music from indie outfit Coburgs Widow and Portsmouth rapper S1mple.

Staff will be holding donation buckets for the military charity at the event, which begins at 7pm

There will also be a raffle and face-painting. Entry is free.

Pub manager Kay Deah urged people to come along and support the cause.

‘We’re really looking forward to the evening,’ she said. ‘We hope to raise lots of money for this fantastic cause.’
