AN asbestos sufferer has marked Action Mesothelioma Day by lighting the Spinnaker Tower.

Waterlooville man Brian Cleal, 67, was exposed to asbestos as a result of his father’s work at 
Portsmouth’s dockyard.

Mr Cleal was joined by Breathe Easy chairman Eric Compton and Michael Osborne of Moore Blatch solicitors for the ceremonial lighting last night.
