Fundraisers are asking local businesses to sponsor a Christmas party for primary schoolchildren in Portsmouth.

The Portsmouth primary schools Christmas party returns for the third year running in aid of Wessex Cancer Trust.

On Sunday, November 29, the Mountbatten Centre will be transformed into a winter wonderland to welcome hundreds of children as they come together to party this Christmas.

The event will be held from 2.30pm–4.30pm and a range of entertainments and activities have been organised, including a special visit and gift from Santa Claus.

There will be a range of arts and crafts activities, Christmas games and prizes.

The ticket price includes a special tea and Christmas cakes can be purchased for a smal fee.

Musical entertainment and a bouncy castle will also feature but small charges will also apply for the tombola, Santa’s grotto and face painting as a contribution towards the charity.

To do this, LinkedUp Fundraising is asking for sponsorship from local businesses of only £45, awarding tickets for
10 children to a Portsmouth primary school.

Tickets are charged at £4.50 for siblings.

To sponsor a school please contact Clare (023) 9281 4875 or 07973 726603 or clare@linkedupfundraising.co.uk.
