A COMEDY and acoustic night has raised more than £300 for a community radio station.

The team behind Gosport’s Revolution Radio held the night at The Clarence Tavern in Gosport, with local acts and comedian Sean Collins.

The group raised £348 on Sunday, which means they have raised £1,018 so far.

Co-founder Kieron Howes, 24, of Cottage Grove in Gosport said: ‘It was a massive shock to see it packed and made me and the team feel humble.

‘It is a non-profit group and no-one gets paid for their time – it’s just a great bunch of people wanting to give something back to the community.’
