Steam causes Havant church’s smoke alarm to go off

FIREFIGHTERS were called to a church.

One crew from Havant fire station was called to St Faith’s Church, in North Street, Havant.

It is thought steam triggered the alarm to sound.

Crew members checked the premises and found there was no fire or any other emergency.

The incident happened at 4.30pm yesterday.

No one was injured.
