TIME is running out for budding young movie-makers to submit their mini-motion pictures to the 2012 Co-operative Film Festival.
Under-19s who dream of being the next Spielberg or Scorsese have until August 31 to get their entries in and stand the chance of seeing their production premiere on the silver screen.
Entries should be no more than six minutes long and will be viewed and selected by a panel of film and media professionals.
The festival is being staged during Co-operatives United – a week-long celebration being hosted by The Co-operative as part of the global culmination of the United Nations International Year of Co-operatives.
The films will be shown at the AMC Cinema in Manchester, in November.
Festival organiser Keela Walsh, said: ‘This is a fantastic opportunity for young people from Portsmouth to showcase their talents and see their films on the big screen during a major national film festival.’
