A STOLEN car was set ablaze after being dumped in Fareham Football Club’s ground.

Firefighters were called to the fire, on Palmerston Road, Fareham, at 11.50pm last night, but could not access it with their engines.

Instead, the crew used to the Land Rover to get to the car and douse the blaze.

They are treating the incident as arson.

Police confirmed the vehicle had been stolen on Saturday.
