Storage firm’s Christmas toy and games appeal gains support

A PORTSMOUTH Christmas toy appeal for The Children’s Society is gaining momentum.

Access Self Storage in Herbert Street, Landport, is urging members of the public and local businesses to rise to the challenge and embrace the festive period early by donating new and unused games and toys to its appeal.

All donations will be delivered to the charity following the closing date on December 11.

The Children’s Society works and supports vulnerable and disadvantaged children and young people in the UK who need help during the Christmas period.

Access Self Storage Portsmouth store manager Helen McPhail said: ‘We have been overwhelmed by the generosity of the public and local businesses. Last year was such a success as we had over 100 gifts donated and we are on our way to smashing that record this year.’

To find out more, contact the store on 0845 2798 374.
