AN ANIMAL shelter is putting out a plea for supporters to give them any unwanted soft toys of any shape or size.

Vanessa Eden, head of fundraising at the Stubbington Ark, said: ‘The News put out an appeal for soft toys in January which was very successful.

‘However, we have now run out of stock and need more toys.

‘The soft toys are washed and are used in various tombolas the charity runs at country fairs and similar fundraising events.

‘It is a good idea to ask family, friends and neighbours if they have any soft toys to spare, as the charity is willing to collect in bulk from all areas.’

To arrange collection of your soft toys, contact Mrs Eden on (01329) 666916 or deliver them to the Ark, 174-176 Ranvilles Lane in Stubbington, open seven days a week, 10am to 4pm.
