A UNIVERSITY student raised £845 for two charities by rowing for 24 hours.

William Nunn, 19, from Bishop’s Waltham, was raising money for Smile4Wessex and Combat Stress.

William, a student in Bristol, attempted to break the world record for his age — 265,380 metres.

William did not break the record, but raised hundreds for charity. To donate go to uk.virginmoneygiving.com/WilliamNunn24HourChallenge
