ASPIRATIONAL themes including a classic fairytale, the Queen’s Jubilee and children achieving their best took to the stage for this year’s Rock Challenge.
Secondary schoolchildren wowed a Portsmouth Guildhall audience with their energetic performances which earned them an array of awards.
Horndean Technology College won best performance and drama skills with their take on Sleeping Beauty called Dreams of Emancipation.
Mary Rose Special School achieved most entertaining show for No Limits Allowed! and the team from City of Portsmouth Girls’ School won best costume design for Diamonds are Forever on the theme of the Jubilee.
Portsmouth College’s Virtual Reality performance scooped Spirit of Rock Challenge award.
