A FLOWER club raised hundreds of pounds in aid of a charity that supports young carers.

Fareham Flower Club, which meets at Wallington Village Hall on the second Thursday of the month, spent last Saturday in Fareham Shopping Centre selling daffodil posies for Mother’s Day.

The group raised £618, which will go to Southampton Young Carers Project.

The charity provides a service for children and young people aged between eight and 18 who care for an unwell or disabled family member.
