A WOMAN diagnosed with breast cancer is due to have her hair shaved off.

Thomasina McGuigan will have the chop at the Golden Lion pub, in Bedhampton Road, Bedhampton, on Sunday.

And for each person who joins Thomasina, who starts her chemotherapy on Monday, the pub landlord will let his grow hair for one week.

All cash raised on the day will go to Breast Cancer Care. The event starts at 7pm and finishes at 7pm.

People coming along are asked to wear pink clothes.
