THE Pompey Supporters Trust has thrown its weight behind Blue Day 12.

The trust is currently organising its second fans’ day, which is due to take place before Pompey’s final home game of the season against Derby County.

And members say they are fully behind the Blue Day fundraising effort the day before.

Scott Mclachlan, spokesman for the Pompey Supporters Trust, said: ‘It’s fantastic. The Tom Prince Cancer Trust is one of the independent charities in the city.

‘People always want to do something for it. Anything that involves the football club and charity is a good thing. It’s a very simple idea and it’s something that everyone can get involved in. It’s a great idea.’
