KEEN swimmers are being urged to put on their bathing suits for a swim-a-thon to raise money for KIDS.

The charity supports disabled children and young people and their families in Fareham and Gosport.

All money raised from the event will go towards the Young Carers Project, which provides support and respite for young carers as well as taking them out on activities, giving them happy childhood memories.

The swim-a-thon takes place on Sunday, June 24, at Brune Park College. Swimmers of all ages and abilities are welcome to take part. Registration is £5 and there is no minimum sponsorship.

Anyone interested in supporting the project should call Kitty on 01329 242968 or email eventssouth@kids.org.uk.
