A TOP sailor’s charity is calling on people to take part in this year’s Bupa Great South Run to help young people recovering from cancer.

The Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust, a charity that aims to inspire young people’s cancer recovery through sailing, has 55 places available in this year’s run through Portsmouth on October 28. The trust is asking that runners aim to raise a minimum of £150.

Frank Fletcher, the trust’s chief executive, said: ‘Our fundraisers make such a difference to our work as we rely 100 per cent on donations.’
