IRISH lovers are urged to get their dancing shoes on for St Patrick’s Day.

The Paul Gilday Band will wow visitors with a live performance at Portsmouth Irish Club, in Elm Grove, Southsea, tomorrow evening.

More than 150 people have already snapped up tickets for the Irish-themed event at the members-only club.

Tickets for the evening, which starts at 7pm, cost £6 for members and £7 for non-members.

The Ireland vs England Six Nations rugby match will be televised in the club earlier in the day.

Charlie Brown, steward for Portsmouth Irish Club, said: ‘It’s always a really friendly atmosphere in here.

‘It should be a brilliant night.’
