A talk about the founder of Petersfield Orchestra and a pioneer among 20th-century female 
conductors takes place at Flora Twort Gallery this month.

Philip Young, chairman of Petersfield Musical Festival, explores Kathleen Merritt’s life in and beyond Petersfield, the music she played and the musicians she worked with.

The talk is on August 20 at the Physic Garden at 7pm. Refreshments will be provided.
