A MUM who had her house transformed by a DIY team will be showing off her new home on BBC1 tonight.

Tearful Hannagh Smith, 35, from Saffron Way, Whiteley, praised the scores of volunteers who joined the DIY SOS team to transform her home in just nine days and make it wheelchair friendly for three-year-old Reuben, who has cerebral palsy, and his twin brother Zachary.

She said: ’There was no way we could have stayed here because my three-year-old premature twins haves serious life-long health issues.

‘The most amazing, fabulous people gave up their time out of the kindness of their hearts and as a result, they have completely changed our lives.’
