FIREFIGHTERS had to rescue a teenager from a car in Gosport last night.

Crews from Gosport fire station were called to the incident outside Hermes Court, off Heritage Way, around 11pm after a car left the road and crashed into railings.

A spokesman from the station said a female passenger, 18, had to be cut out of the car and was placed on a spinal board as a precaution after complaining about pain in the lower half of her body.

The driver, a male, wasn’t injured.
