ESCORTING lost children home to their parents is something you might expect your local bobby to do.

But sheep and goats? Well, yesterday it happened.

A goat and two sheep went missing from Milton Common in Portsmouth.

And a PCSO on duty in Milton helped to get the animals back home safe and sound.

Portsmouth Police tweeted: ‘PCSO Emma herding two sheep and a goat who decided to escape from their farm.’

The picture was shared many times on Twitter and attracted several dozen likes.

One follower tweeted: ‘Every day’s different right?!’
