The Rowans Hospice need hairdressers
HAIRDRESSERS are needed to help hospice patients feel a cut above the rest.
The Rowans Hospice, in Purbrook, is looking for a fully-trained hairdresser to provide cuts for in-patients.
The candidate must be qualified with insurance and be CRB checked on their application.
Hayley Hamlett, volunteer services manager, said: ‘At the hospice we like to offer our patients the personal touch.
‘Sometimes a hair wash, and perhaps a bit of a trim, can make all the difference to how someone feels – and our patients are no different.
‘We are looking for someone to provide light hair care to our in-patients. This person might be retired, and someone who wants to give something back to the community.’
