A TALK about art, a Teddy bears’ picnic and a history day are among the events being planned to take place at the Gosport Discovery Centre next month.

The centre has released its January schedule, which starts with a drop-in day on January 5 from 10am to midday.

At the event, visitors will be able to bring back memories by exploring timelines of domestic objects in the Search Museum.

Curator Tim Craven will give a talk about British modern art on January 13 from 6.30pm to 7.30pm, tickets are £5.

The Teddy bears’ picnic for under-fives is free and will take place on January 18 from midday.

There will be a Winnie the Pooh storytime day on January 16 from 11am to midday for children aged three to 10.

There will be a ‘history of the American west’ event on January 20 from 7.30pm.
