RICK JACKSON: The patriotism inspired by HMS Queen Elizabeth is wonderful

Thieves have stolen three bronze deer ornaments from outside the front of a home.

The three statues, which depict a mother and her two youngsters and are up to 3ft tall, were taken from the home in Posbrook Lane in Titchfield, between 8am and 10pm on December 13.

Police have only just released details.

PC Simon Hitchcock said: 'They are very heavy and would require more than one person to lift them and most likely a van or something similar to transport.

'Should anyone see these items for sale we would be grateful if they could make contact with the police.'

Anyone who knows anything about the theft is asked to contact Fareham police on 101. Or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
