ARSONISTS are thought to behind a spate of bin fires that are thought to be linked.

Southsea fire station were first called to Ashling Lane, North End, at 2.30am on Saturday.

When the first crew arrived they found three separate fires, including wheelie bins and a stack of crates.

As the fires were close to buildings, a second crew from Southsea, was called and the blaze extinguished.

Crews were then called again at 4am to a fourth fire and firefighters believe all blazes were linked.
