POLICE are looking for witnesses to an accident on a country lane.

The two-car collision happened just after midnight on Tuesday, at the junction of the A286 Midhurst Road and the B2141 in Mid Lavant, near Chichester.

A 27-year-old woman from Gosport, who was driving a Renault Clio, suffered a broken ankle. Her 19-year-old passenger, from Waterlooville, suffered chest pains and bruising.

A 64-year-old man from Emsworth, who was driving a Vauxhall, hurt his knee.

Call Sussex Police on 101 quoting 1587 of 13/10 with information.
