A MUSICAL which celebrates the life of civil rights campaigner Paul Robeson will be performed in Fareham.
Paul Robeson was one the first artists to refuse to play to segregated audiences in America.
His life is now the subject of a production visiting the Ashcroft Arts Centre during Black History Month in October.
Call Mr Robeson – A Life, With Songs tells of a fight for freedom and equality, and of facing the full fury of white America in what became the civil rights movement.
The show comes to the Ashcroft Arts Centre on Thursday, October 25 from 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £12.50 for adults and £11.50 for concessions.
