THERE’S still time to get a ticket to the final of one of the area’s biggest talent shows.
But East Hampshire Youth Council, which runs the show called Ignition, says tickets are selling out fast.
Some of the county’s most talented young people will take to the stage at Petersfield School in a bid to lift the trophy.
All funds raised from the event will go towards local hospice Naomi House, which supports children and young people with life diminishing conditions and terminal illnesses. Around 40 acts auditioned last month and the judges selected the finalists.
One of the judges, Youth Councillor Edward Ashdown, said: ‘We’ve managed to pick the best possible balance and range of talents that will make for a great final.’
After the evening performances, judges will award a first, second and third place winner for two age categories – aged eight to 13 and aged 14 to 18. It’s held on Saturday January 28, at 7pm. Adult tickets cost £4 and child tickets cost £4. Call 01730 234186.
