Time for sporting stars to shine
THE spotlight will be shone on the best sports stars, teams, coaches and volunteers at an awards ceremony.
The nominations for the 2012 Chichester District Youth Sport Achievement Awards are open and it’s the public’s chance to highlight those who have made a contribution to sporting life in the area.
The categories are; team of the year, volunteer of the year, coach of the year, young person’s commitment to sport, outstanding contribution to sport, outstanding sports performance of the year and youth sport achievement.
To vote fill out a nomination form online at chichester.gov.uk or pick one up at the council offices.
The deadline is April 13.
