CONSTRUCTION works in Tipner have left 50 houses without power.

Ongoing regeneration works in Tipner by Portsmouth City Council has caused an underground, low voltage cable to be cut by workmen who are doing construction works in the area.

This has left 50 houses in Harbour Way and Victory Green, Tipner, without power.

The houses lost their power earlier this afternoon but Southern Electric have got workmen on the scene and residents should have their power back later this afternoon.
