A PHOTOGRAPHER has set up a new project aiming to help small charities for free.

Phil Burner, from Titchfield, has launched PhotoAid to help charities and not-for-profit organisations with their photography and publicity.

Mr Burner, who has more than 40 years’ experience working in newspapers, said: ‘I wanted to do something useful in retirement so I hit on the idea of helping charities with their publicity. Although large charities have a very efficient press and PR set-up there may be times when smaller organisations need professional pictures take. If so I’m there to help.

‘If any local south coast charity, not-for-profit organisation or just someone wanting to raise money for a good cause think PhotoAid might be able to help, please give PhotoAid a call and we’ll do our best to help.’
