Tom Greenleaf had never entered a writing competition before - but he’s celebrating after being picked as the winner in the 16-and-over category of our Christmas ghost story contest.
Tom, 25, of Chelsea Road, Southsea, wins £100 to spend at any branch of Waterstone’s.
When told he had won, the helpdesk supervisor said: ‘Excellent. I’m a keen reader and I like ghost stories, things with a bit of a sinister edge.’
He added: ‘Writing the story was a fun exercise and I’ll definitely enter some more competitions now.’
