A ROAD has reopened after a three-car crash left one vehicle on its roof.
The driver of a silver Fiat Punto was taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital, Cosham, after his car overturned in Grange Road, Gosport.
He was being treated for back pain and his injuries are not life-threatening.
His car hit a Ford Fiesta and Daewoo just before 8am today.
Nimrod Drive was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident - the road was reopened again at 9.20am.
A spokeswoman for South Central Ambulance Service said: ‘We were called this morning at 7:58 to Grange Road in Gosport to a road traffic collision.
‘We had an ambulance crew on scene treating one patient who was taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital.’

Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at 09:06 AMGrange Road. A long straight ex-runway of a road running adjacent to a run down and deprived area (...yes yes it's being renovated...)and known crime hotspot and absolutely no traffic calming in sight. I think you can probably do the math. I live in Rowner and Grange Road is like a drag track. It needs some kind of traffic calming scheme. No, not the only place, obviously - well done for pointing that out - but as I inferred with sarcasm, no surprise.

The 3rd car had diaasappeared by 840pm, leaving the upside down one and the fiesta, so it copuildnt ogf been danaged. So it looks like the punto car was speeding and going to overtake the fiesta when the daewoo came out of the new Howe Road, and lost control.
