Protestors may cause road jams
Motorists are being warned they could suffer delays during an animal rights protest tomorrow.
Members of Stop Wickham Animal Testing are to gather in Wickham for the annual protest against a controversial animal testing facility.
Campaigners from across the south are likley to join the group for the march which will run from midday to 5pm.
Police are warning of delays and advising people to avoid the area if possible.
Sergeant Kevan Sitch, of the operations department, said: 'It is likely that there will be considerable congestion on the roads and potential delays in the surrounding area.
'Hampshire Constabulary would advise motorists to avoid the area.'
The marchers will gather in the Mill Lane car park at noon before marching through the village along the A32.
They will then stop in The Square before moving on to the nearby labs in Winchester Road to lay wreathes and hold two minutes' silence.
