WARTIME spirit is coming back to Gosport.

The annual Spirit of the 40s event is due to be held at the Explosion Museum of Naval Firepower on April 12 and 13.

It will see people do the jitterbug, explore a home front bus and get a glimpse of a top-secret spy truck.

And the centrepiece will see a finale battle as Allied troops fight the Germans in the museum’s version of Operation Market Garden.

Family tickets cost £25 and advance tickets cost £12.

For more and to book a ticket, call Siobhan Eyley on (023) 9250 5600.
