A CUSTOMER marketing campaign by the South West Trains-Network Rail Alliance has been recognised at the Travel Marketing Awards.
Beating off competition from brands including Virgin Holidays, Expedia and Thomson, the South West Trains-Network Rail Alliance picked up three different awards for its Summer Marketing Campaign.
The marketing campaign for the Summer Fever Offer picked up the Gold winners award for ‘Best Integrated Marketing Campaign’, Silver for ‘Best Poster Campaign’ and Bronze for ‘Best Online Campaign’.
The campaign, which offered passengers £15 tickets during August last year, was taken up by more than 90,000 passengers.
Emma Wiles, head of marketing for the South West Trains-Network Rail Alliance, said: ‘This was a great campaign that proved a huge success with our passengers.’
