BUS users are facing delays because of emergency repair works on Gosport’s A32.

Work to repair a collapsed sewer on Fareham Road by Vector Aerospace started on Monday and has been causing chaos on the roads.

First bus services 82, 83, 85 and 86 have all been delayed because of a lane closure on the road.

Other bus services are affected because of increased congestion on the town’s other roads.

A spokeswoman for First buses said: ‘We would like to apologise to our customers for any inconvenience caused as a result of these works which are outside of our control.

‘We would also like to thank them for their patience during what is a difficult time for our drivers and controllers.

‘Our teams are doing their best to ensure the service remains as punctual and reliable as possible.’
