The person was doing butterfly when spotted off Titchfield on Sunday.

Gafirs posted online: ‘Swimmer returned to shore. False alarm, with good intent.’

On Saturday at 4.07pm a crew was called out to a body in the water off Southsea Castle. It was a barrel.
