A CRASH involving a taxi and a car left a person needing hospital treatment.

The collision happened at the junction of Margate Road and St Andrews Road in Southsea yesterday.

The ambulance service said it took one person to Queen Alexandra Hospital in Cosham after the crash at 2.20am.

It is not known if it was a driver or passenger.

Firefighters were also called but were not needed.
