A WOMAN was lucky to escape with minor injuries after her car plunged into a ditch and flipped over.
The black Mini overturned after careering into a hedge and then a ditch off the B2149 at Rowlands Castle.
Emergency services were called at about 7.30pm on Saturday. A crew from Havant fire station helped to get the woman out of the car and clear the debris.
Craig Sadler, watch manager at Havant, said: ‘The ambulance crew treated her at the scene for her injuries.
‘They were happy not to have to use a spinal board, so there were no spinal injuries.’
The woman was taken by ambulance to Queen Alexandra Hospital for treatment.
