FIREFIGHTERS were called out after a car’s turbo blew out.

A man was driving along Portsdown Hill Road, near Widley, when he realised smoke was coming from the engine.

The incident happened at 5.10pm yesterday.

Cosham firefighters arrived after the man dialled 999.

They helped him arrange the recovery of the vehicle before leaving about 10 minutes later.
